Lauren's Birthday Visit

Lauren came to visit for a few days and it just happened to coincide with her birthday. She had a gorgeous birthday party with all her friends it was good to see everyone again. There were so many people people I haven't seen in years or since high school. It was a fun time.

My Days at the Compound

I've been spending a lot of time at anne's house otherwise known lovingly as the "Compound" our base of operations for the film. Where we have been; watching auditions, making costumes, building a wardrobe, rewriting the script, and too many things to count. I can't believe the man hours we have all been putting it, we hardly ever leave. Our amazing wardrobe girl Claire hasn't been home in 3 days! I sneak off to my dogs about ever 6 hours or so. But every one else stays glued to their work station.

here is all the fabrics we have been using to build costumes. it looks a disaster now but we'd been working for 20 hours straight on the dresses, and pants.

this couch is where I spend a lot of time costume researching. What can I say I love pillows.

we're usually so stressed we eat out side to relax and it's actually a really great time having so many people you love and admire to work with and spend so much time with, I can't wait till we all get on the plane to Ireland and get this film really going.

Another Time I Went to Work.....IN IRELAND!!!!!

So the film that was supposed to happen in July is finally going down and in a way cooler place then Romania. IRELAND!!!!!! I'm so happy happy happy. I'm going to do everything I can in the 3 weeks I have. Paris, London, and the town where my grandmother grew up.

I am thrilled and know this will be very good for me.

I will be working on the film with my friends, sadly Christopher doesn't want to come but maybe he will change his mind and come for a romantic visit. We have rented a Castle for the 3 weeks and it will be so wonderful to live in a Castle and do a job I love. They want me to dye my hair back brown so I can be a extra/actor but so far I've been standing my ground I'm a blond for good now till I go ginger. But I'm thrilled to be going and so glad I have such wonderful friends. I think I'll start a journal for the 3 weeks I'm there.

Kayla's shower

Two of my sisters are pregnant, Kayla and Stephanie both are flat as a board and more then 7 months along. It gives me hope that I won't balloon up, ppppprobably false hope. This is Kayla's shower I threw with Katrice. I wish I had a picture of the invitations Emily Sparks designed for me, they were gorgeous.

After the Wedding we visited Boston and took one of the bus tours all around the city. It was beautiful and fun.

Clare and Maclain's wedding was amazing.

here they are in the church getting married. Clare was gorgeous and all their families were there singing song and reading scriptures.

Here is the tent we went to after for cocktails and appetizers, It was amazing best coconut chicken and crabcakes I'd ever had.

and here is my salad.....ITS A LOBSTER I REALLY enjoyed my lobster looking salad.

here is the dinner hall, Anne, Jenn, Kynan, Andrew, margot and I got to sit at the same table. The girl next to me was around my age, but as we were talking it came out she owned the New Orleans Saints, that was a shocker, and the german man I danced with on the dance floor had flown in specially from Italy to be at their special day. I met such interesting people!!
